General Conditions for Photo Shoots

1. Photography Style Agreement

By choosing the photographer’s services, clients acknowledge and agree to the photographer’s unique photography style, as displayed on their social media platforms. Clients understand that this style reflects the photographer’s artistic vision, and they agree not to request photographs in a style that differs from the photographer’s established work or imitates the style of other photographers.

2. Use of Photos on Social Media

Photos taken by Olga Vandenbussche Photography may be published on the website and social media platforms. If you do not consent to this, please inform the photographer in advance. As a thank-you for allowing photos to be shared on social media, the photographer offers a mini video as a bonus (subject to prior agreement).

3. Pricing Policy

Prices are subject to change at any time. However, the price agreed upon at the time of booking will remain unchanged, regardless of future price adjustments.

4. Booking and Payment

• A photo session is paid in two parts. At the time of booking, a non-refundable deposit is required. The booking is only confirmed once this deposit has been paid.

• The mood board for the session and style advice will be provided only after the deposit has been paid.

• If the session is canceled, the deposit can be used toward a new reservation but will not be refunded.

5. Photographer’s Right to Cancel

The photographer reserves the right to cancel the session if the client fails to respect the requested actions or preparations as communicated by the photographer.

6. Client Responsibility for Damages

• Any damages caused to the studio, its equipment, or props by the client, their children, or their guests must be reimbursed by the client. The cost of the damage will be assessed and communicated to the client for payment.

• It is strictly forbidden for children to run or play in the shooting area where equipment is placed. This is for their safety and to protect the equipment.

7. Photo Selection

The client will select the photos to be edited. These photos will be retouched in the photographer’s unique style, as showcased in their portfolio and social media.

8. Raw Images

Raw, unedited images will not be provided under any circumstances.

9. Post-Production Process

The following edits are included in the post-production process:

• Cropping of images.

• Color correction to enhance tones and balance.

• Removal of distracting or unnecessary objects from the background.

• Professional retouching performed in Photoshop.

10. What Is Not Included in Post-Production

The following edits are not included in the post-production process:

• Makeup adjustments or enhancements (e.g., adding or correcting makeup).

• Hair modifications, such as changing hair color, adding highlights, or altering hair length.

• Dyeing or fixing hair roots in Photoshop.

• Alterations to manicure (e.g., adding or fixing nail polish, correcting broken or unpolished nails).

• Removal of additional body hair (e.g., unshaved areas).

• Significant body reshaping or alterations beyond minor adjustments for posture.

• Alterations to clothing, such as changing its color, design, or ironing it.

11. Delivery of Edited Photos

The final edited photos will be delivered, and the photo gallery made available, only after full payment for the session has been received.

12. Copyright and Intellectual Property

• All photos created by Olga Vandenbussche Photography are considered artistic works and are protected by copyright laws. The photos remain the intellectual property of the photographer.

• Upon full payment, clients are granted the right to print and publish the photos for personal use only.

• Photos may not be used for commercial purposes without appropriate compensation and prior agreement with the photographer.

13. Shipping Responsibility

The photographer is not responsible for any damage caused during the shipping of orders (e.g., photo books, prints) by postal or courier services.

14. Graphic Design Fees

The design of graphic works, such as photo book layouts or cards, must be paid for, even if the work is not printed.
